We are Robin & Sue, a food photography and styling team in South Orange, NJ. Our kitchen studio is a short train ride from NYC. or easy commute from Manhattan. We’re so glad you found your way to our page.

What makes us different? We pride ourselves in listening, learning, and really getting to know you and your brand in order to bring your visuals to life. We take the time to understand what’s important about your business and how we can create imagery that shows the passion behind it. Eight years ago, we both left our full-time jobs to pursue this business together with a mission. We wanted to provide a more personalized experience to create gorgeous photography for brands. We are here to make your brand stand out among the rest. We love what we do!

We can also help you plan a content calendar so that you have fresh images to use on your social feeds all year long.
You need recipe development and photography for a food product or line you distribute. We work with a recipe developer who can create incredible recipes and we can provide you with gorgeous images for you to post on your social media and website.

Robin Chase

is a food photographer based in South Orange, New Jersey. Her passion for food started early as a small child with an Easy-Bake Oven and later developed into an appreciation (or more appropriately, obsession) over its beauty. Robin, along with her stylist, Sue, has worked with many different types of food businesses from restaurants to magazines, to packaging, cookbooks, websites, and social media feeds. A question she is often asked is, “What is your favorite food to shoot?” to which the answer is always the same. “All of it.” When she is not shooting food, you can usually find Robin reading cookbooks cover to cover or in the tabletop aisle in her local home goods store with a cart full of mismatched placemats and interesting spoons.

Sue von Brachel

is a food stylist based in Maplewood, New Jersey and is also a freelance advertising art director working in the food and beverage category. Shooting food for national tv and print campaigns gave her the itch to be on the production side. After taking food styling classes at the International Culinary Center in NYC, she knew this was the area she wanted to take her art direction experience. She loves baking, cooking and experimenting in the kitchen with her two daughters, Tess and Elinor.
